From the moment he turned that key, and gave him the sword. I already knew what would happen.

From the moment that he found out, he was a demon. It was, already decided.


"All these things in these books are bull crap" I snorted as I slammed the book on the desk. Mina kept Striker on her shoulders as the others looked up at me. I slide back on the bench and they went back to their things, as a boy the same age as most in the room opened the door. With dark blue hair, and pointed ears, his scent hitting me gave him away instantly. A sword strapped to his back, with a small dog on the ground next to him. That, was who I was looking for.

"I'm Okumura Rin, nice to meet you" He walked into the room with a cool composure, but he obviously wasn't going to fool me. I already knew all the info I needed about him.

Rin was the son of this world's Satan, otherwise labelled as 'blue' on our accounts. A fire tamed wolf demon who bounded his soul energy to different bodies. Though Rin and his brother were born of him and a human, it was obvious the scent revealed all of their blood lines. His brother Yukio, I hadn't met yet, I knew enough of his info to know he didn't believe he even had blood of his father at all. Somewhere deep inside there though it was there.

Why I was here? Me and Mina had been sent to watch Rin, just watch him. There had been more and more gods children born in different worlds, though they were rare. Apparently not only did Zakuro want me to watch him, but Hailee as well. In the process, Mina thought it would be a good oppurtunity for herself to observe the class. We had to pull some strings for them to let a ten year old into the class. She would pass Striker off as a summoned animal, considering that was just her fortee. The muttered nice to meets you's traveled the room, as Yukio, the teacher walked into the class room.

Mina  looked up at me as I sat up straight to listen to Yukio. Though all he went on about was getting a spirit wound. I pulled up my book again and opened it to the same page. 'Holy Demon'

HOLY DEMON
STATUS: EXTINCT

The holy demon was made up of four different clans, the wolf tribe, the cat tribe, the horse tribe and the bear tribe. Each in which had their own demonic forms, the wolf tribe was the most threatening, though the name holy was given to them by their strange effects of never being effected by anything holy. They were very dangerous and aggressive creatures with no sense of human affection in them.

I didn't even want to read on, luckily Rin interpreted his brother, yelling at him as much as he could, and everyone was sent outside the class. One of the students calling him an annoying brat. As me and my sister left the room, I gave Rin a glare, in which he probably did not notice. As the others mingled amongst themselves me and Mina talked off to the side in whispers.

"I can't believe this book, it's such bull crap, even their info on usual demons is all wrong."

"This isn't our world Abby, they don't live like we do, nor do the same creatures reside here like ours." I ruffled my hair.

"That may be so, but the information still pisses me off" I threw the book on the ground and leaned against the wall.

"Your forgetting why you're here Abby, may I remind you of what your supposed to be doing"

"I know I know, but how am I supposed to watch him without coming off as some sort of stalker" Striker flicked his tail and jumped onto my shoulders, his tiny tongue flicking out of his mouth. Mina shrugged.

"That's for you to find out, I'm only here because I'm actually 'interested' in the classes they give." I patted her on the head.

"You better be thankful too, it took me forever to convince them to let you take them. Your five years too young for this."

"I'm also Ten years too old for them to understand the life that we both live." I scratched the back of my head for a moment.

"I guess your right."

What I didn't get about this all, was why was I the one watching them? I wasn't born of a god, or a goddess for that matter. I was born of two demons, both pure blood. Even so my blood line was pure, it was still dormant because of half of it was being used to seal away a vampire under punishment. The other half of the vampire's power in Mina. That vampire known as Armillia Cortein, sealed, to be attained for the sins committed in her life time.

I knew I had become involved with celestial, I even served as one for some time. Yet, it seemed my life was just all too complicated for the title of a goddess. It also made me feel like I had too much power, having too much of it, never meant anything good. Here though, I was just a student, I would have to be careful, and make sure my ears and tail didn't pop out if I got angry or otherwise.

"Sorry about that, let's resume class" Yukio's voice rang as we entered the class room again. The room was completely destroyed, though I was left wondering what happened, I concluded it was a brothers scuffle. Me and Mina returned to our corner and later when class ended. Watched as Rin entered his dorm.

"Where's our dorm?" Mina asked.

"I don't think we have one....yet, we can't exactly sleep with the humans you know, and your well....special." I patted her on the head again and walked over to the door. You needed a key to get inside, but I wasn't interested in that. As I turned towards the forest I looked at Mina and striker. "I guess, we're sleeping in the woods tonight." As we both walked towards the forest.
